Okay, so the little joys of life really made me smile this weekly. BIG WIDE, HUGE FREAKING SMILES. Ahem, so the greatest things this weekend were actually things that I would have found annoying under normal circumstances, but honestly, I was just too freaking happy to not find them so much fun:
1. Working 14 hours on Friday with the best co-workers (and the weirdest freaking DENTIST patrons) that money could buy... (and the best thing that it's not your money). The money being around 144 dollars in one day. YEAH BABY.
2. Dancing at a frat party and not disliking it. Drunk work colleagues and old friends amused me too much to not like it.
3. Walking around Bamboozle Left and just people watching on the grass with Mikey, Nicole, Zion, and Stacey. You guys were the best company. Not too crazy and just the right amount of chill. Mikey and Nicole, thank you both for driving (You guys are awesome. Especially from me since I'm pathetic and don't have a license). And seriously, just being patient when we kind of pushed the crowd and got a little separated. Could not have better company.
4. Pushing through the crowd and listening to bands that remind me of junior high: The Starting Line (the jumps from current (angry) music to past (sugary) music was ridiculously great), Story of the Year (HEY HEY let's join this cult! MOSH with me MOTHERFUCKER), Reel Big Fish (TAKE ON ME....A-Ha, BABY!), Alkaline Trio ("Hey, they're good, who are they?" "...Alkaline Trio" "...I never thought I would say that." Stacey, I. LOVE. you.), New Found Glory (Haley had a lower voice than him... COME ON, GO THROUGH PUBERTY ALREADY).
5. Discovering the Tahiti Twins were actually... (wait for it).... the Tahiti Twins. (smiles) I wish we had checked out more smaller bands. They were actually really awesome.
6. Paramore. Standing behind the tallest fucking guys in the world, and basically watching Haley thrash through the space between their shoulders.
7. Pushing and plowing to the front of the stage. (Oh Stacey, you do have a mean streak).
8. JIMMY EAT WORLD. (cough enough said.) JIMMY EAT WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! AHH (they sang "Pain". THEY SANG "PAIN"!) Just... Just.... JIMMY. EAT. WORLD. (freaking SMILES)
9. THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS... OK, this deserves a sub group.
a> (I think it was) Nick who came out drinking beer.
b> All of them looking like they just rolled out of bed and thought "oh shit, that's right, we have a show we gotta do."
c> All of them being completely tipsy off their asses. AND still rocking out like freaking asses.
d> Tyson Ritter = so high (AHAHHAHAHAHAHA still laughing) (cough this. made. my. NIGHT)
e> Discovering that (seriously, to hell with Tyson Ritter) Nick Wheeler is the hottest guy in that band. Jesus, when he plays... (Oh and by the way, I really want his Green Gibson ES-335. I want that guitar. I miss my Gibson.)
f> Tyson's making the crowd scream hard enough to give Mike Kennerty a boner. (Don't really know if we accomplished that.) And then in the middle of song seeing if Mike actually had one. (Seriously. Boys, what the hell do you do in your spare time? ...And I thought girls were strange.)
g> The Asian girl in front of me. I know this is weird, but seriously, this shorter-than-me asian girl, maybe my age or younger, has this long black hair, dressed for a regular day at school and... she screams, yells, and FREAKING THRASHES around me. There is no space and I think I ate her hair about a gazillion times. I don't know why I wasn't annoyed, but it was one of the funniest things ever.
10. Waking up today and still, STILL, being totally fucking happy about yesterday.
11. Stacey calling me asking me if I thought Rachel was scary when I first met her. (Rachel, No. You were not scary. They boys are just being stupid because they have never experienced real tough dangerous scary people before and, seriously, you're too freaking nice to be scary.) Then Stacey said she was going to put me on speaker to talk to everybody. Pausing to change her settings... then promptly asking, "Wait, how do you put people on speaker phone?" (smiles)
ETA:
12. Watching teenage kids with their parents. Both of them attempting to be cool. (The baby blue sun-brimmed hats, the mother asking her daughter's friend where to get a tattoo, and the dozens of kids and parents carrying yellow bags full of posters.)
13. All American Rejects AGAIN: The Dummy Check and Tyson forgetting some of the words.
Seriously, all this smiling REALLY hurts. UGH.
OKAY, change of direction...//>>> TURNING AROUND TO MARCH:
End of the month pictures of my journey on the metrolink. All are unedited except for those that are marked with *, both because I was too lazy and really didn't think about it.

Okay so... I've had a rather horrible two days.
( barely readable rant about how much my last two days sucked. please don't criticize my writing )
Pictures from my trip to Dallas airport and back.

( massive photo whose setting won't change )

(Seriously, Jon, thank you for keeping me company during standby. I hope Santa Barbara is awesome after that. And hopefully there are no more crying babies in your future.)

The weather during my trip. "Rain, rain, go away, come again another day..."

So today's the day for posts galore. I'm not sure if anybody will check this out, but the off chance that someone does, HEY, check out what i've been doing in college.
Okay so, first off, I entered this Panic At The Disco contest on buzznet.com on a whim. (I was supposed to be studying for a midterm COUGH COUGH) I spent a total of maybe 2 days planning, 2 days drawing/rendering on Photoshop this banner they wanted to promote their music video. So anyway, you can apparently "buzz" people if you like the design. I have no idea if you have to already have an account but (shrugs) check it out I guess. Some of the other banners are pretty cool.

This one is mine: http://www.buzznet.com/groups/patdbanne rcontest/photos/?id=40926131. Buzz me, comment... whatever. (shrugs) I'm more into it for the glory, but you know the grand prize sounds cool and I wouldn't mind getting a music album... considering I haven't bought one in... a very long time.
Another part of business is... my art work last semester. I decided to post them. I've... never used photobucket before so... yeah. Just bear with me and my shitty photography. It's around 40 or images of almost all sketches and drawings consisting of perspective, nude people (yes and no, not all of them are attractive), random shit, and motorcycles. Yeah. (smiles) Also, features a dual portrait I did of Marilyn Monroe and Kate Moss. go...loook.
CLICK ON ME!

Another later art work that required us making a book that had a personal element to it. I basically tried to describe the word 'wayward' in different forms. Okay...really I just got the project done as soon as I can. (smiles)
CLICK ON ME!

The book pictures aren't in order I'm afraid since... I don't know how to change the order...in photobucket...><
Yeah, so look, enjoy, laugh at me. anything you want. yay
